On Tuesday May 29th, the first Young Professional Round Table will be organized. The theme for the round table will be Young Professionals – Shaping the Future.

The security world is often seen as an “old boys network”. People who know one another since day one and who have transitioned to security as a second career. A new generation of security managers is ready to put their mark on the profession and sometimes it seems difficult to find one’s way through the forest of grey suits. During the Young Professional Round Table we will look at how Young Professionals can develop themselves within the field of security management. We’ll also take a closer look at the changing environment and the role of the Young Professional. It will be an interactive afternoon where Young Professionals can provide input an help shape the future of security and ASIS Benelux.

Speaker
Dirk Pichel PCI PSP holds a bachelor degree in Safety and Security Management. After completing his bachelor’s degree he entered the corporate security environment. After working at Samsung Electronics and working as an independent consultant, he now works as a Security Specialist at FedEx Trade Networks.
